High quality American made bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .270 Winchester, manufactured circa 1987 in Southport, CT. Featuring a high polished blued finish, an approximately 22 1/4" heavy barrel, raised blade front top with brass bead, raised flip-up adjustable rear sight, integral scope base cuts in the receiver, turned down bolt handle, smooth curved adjustable trigger, sliding tang safety, polished Mauser style bolt, internal three round box magazine with hinged steel floorplate, left receiver rail mounted bolt release, and aluminum trigger guard. The furniture consists of a checkered walnut semi-pistol grip shoulder stock, checkered forend, black plastic grip cap with Ruger insignia, sling swivel studs in buttstock and forend, and red rubber factory recoil pad. Rifle exhibits approximately 97% of it's original high polished blued finish showing very little wear. The metal has some spotty rust on the front end of the barrel especially by the front sight. Action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. The wood stock is excellent with only superficial handling marks. This rifle would be in excellent condition if not for the aforementioned rust.
